Description
Twelve-year-old Temerity has lost everything—family, home, and security. She seeks to use her sacred talent of communicating with certain animals to replace her family and regain her sense of self-worth. However, as young people sometimes do, she begins her search in the wrong direction.
Temerity must use her skills to survive the dangerous consequences before she can begin to rebuild her connections with humans, which have proved themselves untrustworthy and unable to understand her or her talent. It will take great courage to face her loneliness and open her heart to hope.
