Jennifer Pollard retired long ago from executive secretarial at such organizations as the Rocky Flats Nuclear Plant and National Renewable Energy Labs then moved to Missouri where she started an apple farm. She and her husband raised two children and now live with a cat, three small dogs and thirteen chickens (though the chickens live outside). She writes fiction for youth and young adults to give them hope for the future.
