I love the idea of taking the Rule of St. Benedict and applying it to a sales job. I do a similar exercise with my students—that they commit to 12 rules to live by. I also find Mike’s challenge of the ‘numbers game’ interesting, I started my career in sales and I did exactly that. Every ‘no’ is one closer to a ‘yes’. I think Mike has a great idea and proposes a different, more Catholic way to sell, focusing on personal excellence and customer-centered selling.

If you hate the concept of “every no gets you closer to a yes” this book is for you. If you teach your salespeople that it’s a numbers game, you need this book. You will discover timeless wisdom of ancient monastic traditions which enables you to expand on your talents.

he principles in this book have helped me open my eyes to my own tendencies, good and bad. It has also given my guidance and inspiration to better myself and to surround myself with those who will help fill in areas I am not the strongest in. I highly recommend this book!
