Pendred Noyce

Pendred Noyce is a physician, advocate for science education reform, writer, publisher, and mother of five. For twenty-five years she helped run the Noyce Foundation, which supported improvements in mathematics and science education nationwide. She continues to advocate for exciting, hands-on afterschool programs in science and engineering. In 2010, Penny co-founded Tumblehome Learning to publish science adventure books and create associated science activities for children. She has written eleven books for young people and has edited and nurtured many more.
