Megan Bacigalupo has contributed articles to The Edge magazine since 2012. She has published articles in national magazines. She holds a degree in Human Services, a field in which she is currently employed. She also worked in the Minneapolis restaurant scene for many years. In 2017, she survived a near-fatal brain hemorrhage while riding a bike. After this life-changing event, she wrote an essay in early recovery, titled In the Cobwebs of My Mind. This piece brought forth a vision impossible to ignore and gave birth to this book.
