James D. Johnson’s career appeared headed on a traditional business trajectory with a degree from Johns Hopkins. Instead, he veered off, spent three years in Europe, working at Alpine ski resorts and construction jobs and teaching physical education and American History in Rome. On returning to the business world, he excelled in marketing and strategy, learning from a series of good, and bad leaders. In 1990, he founded Level Three Performance Solutions. For 30 years he has thrived, developing leaders and organizations from multinationals to family held businesses. Jim lives in Reno with his wife, La Vonne. When not advising clients, he can be found officiating lacrosse games throughout Nevada and California.
