Bill Strusinski
Bill Strusinski was born in 1946 and grew up on the east side of St. Paul, Minnesota. He served in the U.S. Army in 1967 to 1969. Upon his honorable discharge, Strusinski returned to college and earned a degree in political science in 1972. He was appointed by the Governor to the position of Deputy Commissioner and eventually the Commissioner of the State Department of Administration. In 1980, Strusinski left state government to establish his own government relations consulting firm and he still continues to represent clients as a state government lobbyist. Strusinski was trained as a combat medic in the Army and earned numerous awards including three Bronze Stars for Valor and the Combat Medical Badge. He resides with his wife Kirsten in Sandia, Minnesota.
