DAVID KOEHLER was born in Des Plaines, IL a German American community northwest of Chicago, where his great-grandfather established the town’s first hotel. David graduated from the University of Illinois with a BA (philosophy and history) and from Yale University with a BD. He spent most of his working years training in corporate America. He and his wife of over fifty years have two children and two grandchildren.
